I would like your recommendations for new shows, youtube channels, or even movies to watch. They can be automotive related or not, I just need something new to watch while working on assignments procrastinating. Thanks in advance.

I started watching 11.22.63, I’m 2 episodes in and love it (you have to endure James Franco, but I have no problems with him or his acting, so im good). True Detective season 1 is really good, season 2 meh. Ive been watching The Blacklist from the beginning, can recommend it!

Yeah, 11.22.63 was really good. Yes, it is a bit different than the book, but it kind of needed to be. I thought that was really well done.

I'd say most of the current crop of superhero shows are pretty good, and available on Netflix. Arrow, The Flash, Daredevil, Jessica Jones. Those should keep you entertained for a good while. Skip Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. though. That show is just kinda meh.

I watched season one of Shield, it was good, but lacked the wow factor of the movies. I haven’t watched any of the DC based shows so I’ll have to check those out. Thanks!

Have you seen “A Faster Horse” on Netflix? It’s a documentary on the new mustang development.

If you haven’t watched A&E’s ‘The First 48' you’re missing out. Most intriguing show on TV. All it is is embedded cameras in actual homicide units. Completely fascinating seeing actual homicide detectives doing their jobs vs. the silliness of Law & Order type shows. Earlier seasons with Memphis and Dallas are fun to watch because those squads are on-point, gather evidence, get folks talking that you’d never think would, build a case, secure an arrest, hand off to DA (Memphis was especially top notch)...some of the other cities are frightening (Detroit and Cincinnati come to mind) because the folks are lazy SOBs...if the case falls in their lap they’ll get ‘em but otherwise they just pass the buck from detective to detective until you get a graphic at the end of the episode that says ‘The murder of XXX remains unsolved, call Crime Stoppers if you have any info’. Highly recommended. 15 seasons have aired so there’s a lot to see, older stuff is on Netflix, A&E's site has some episodes on it, and A&E constantly airs reruns and marathons.

You will not be disappointed. It is subtitled however, so you will have to actually watch your screen and not let it play as background noise. Totally worth watching.

The D.C. shows are a lot more like a movie, but in a 1hr long show.

Dope is a good movie. Bob’s Burgers is also so funny, but it’s not a universal type of humor.

Try watching the episode where they go to the museum (Carpe Museum, near the end of season 3). That’s a really funny one. Regular Sized Rudy is great.

I just learned of this brand and bought a pair of their shoes. Great quality and longevity, plus most of their shoes look pretty nice.

Any Hitchcock or David Lynch movie.

Top Gear, obviously.

Gravy (very good movie).

Twin Peaks, then watch Fire Walk With Me.

Pretty much anything on Smithsonian channel. Discovery channel could work too.

Mike Tyson Mysteries.

Batman: The Animated Series.

Archer.

Gotta watch BoJack Horseman (Netflix) and Archer (Season 7's out!) if you like inappropriately funny cartoons.

Watch Luther (Netflix) if you like a good gritty detective series. It has Idris Elba in it...
